Global OPPO and OnePlus users who have reached the age of majority in their respective countries (participants must be at least 18 years old or meet the legal age of adulthood in their region) can participate in this competition.
The submitted works must be original creations captured by OPPO mobile phones. Previously published or award-winning works in other photography competitions or public media are not eligible for participation.

Submissions can be made through the official OPPO Reno Academy website, and other official channels designated for the competition. When submitting through the competition website, you need to provide your personal information to uniquely identify your identity and facilitate the uploading, viewing, and management of your works. Therefore, we will collect personal information such as email address, country, name, and mobile product. We will provide you with the corresponding services based on the location (country or region) of your account. By logging into the competition website, you agree to the OPPO Imaging Contest website's user agreement and privacy policy.

The deadline is October 31, 2023. After the submission deadline, you will be unable to continue uploading, modifying, or deleting your works to ensure fairness in the competition.

Participation is free of charge.
Participants can freely choose the competition category to upload their works, which must adhere to the theme of portraiture.
For users submitting works on the OPPO Reno Academy website, there is no limit to the number of entries. Each single photo or photo set (up to 9 images) will be considered as one entry. Duplicate or highly similar images cannot be uploaded as individual entries. Participants can submit the same work to different categories, but the same work submitted to two different categories will be counted as separate entries.
The submitted photo works must retain the original EXIF information captured by the OPPO phone. In case of any disputes related to copyright or other intellectual property rights, if the original image cannot be provided, the organizer of the contest has the right to disqualify the work from winning.
The content of the submitted photo works must not involve violence, pornography, racial discrimination, subversion, or defamation of society, religion, or religious taboos. The content of the submitted photo works must comply with local laws and regulations and not violate public order and morals. Any submitted works with relevant circumstances will not be displayed or considered for evaluation.

Competition entries must be captured using devices from OPPO and its subsidiary brand, OnePlus, including all models of OPPO smartphones and all models of OnePlus smartphones.
Computer software such as Photoshop and Lightroom is prohibited for photo editing. Participants can use photo editing apps on their mobile phones for appropriate post-processing, such as adjusting brightness, contrast, white balance, saturation, etc. However, techniques like compositing that alter the original content of the work are not allowed, and the complete EXIF information must be retained.
Only JPG format photos will be accepted, and the shorter side of the photo should be no less than 1000 pixels. The data size of a single photo should not exceed 20MB.
Please provide a title and description for each entry, with a maximum of 14 characters for the title.
When uploading the entries, besides the works themselves, participants will be required to provide additional information for purposes such as identity verification and work verification. We will collect your personal information in accordance with the privacy statement of this competition and applicable laws.
During the submission phase, you only need to provide relevant information regarding your registered account (including username, email address, and country information), as well as the title and description for each submitted entry. The username and email address are necessary for contacting you promptly and issuing prizes. After the competition ends, the organizer will verify the registration information of the winners. If your personal information is incomplete or incorrect, resulting in the inability to contact you and affect prize distribution, it will be considered that the winner has automatically forfeited the prize, and the organizer will not reissue the prize in such cases.

After the submission deadline, the competition committee and preliminary judges will select 100 outstanding entries from each category. These entries will proceed to the final review stage, where they will be evaluated by an expert judging panel to compete for the final awards.

After the submission deadline (October 31th, 2023), the competition committee and preliminary judges will select outstanding entries that meet the requirements. Once the selected entries have gone through the final evaluation, we will contact the winners via email. Additionally, we will announce the list of winners on the official website of OPPO Reno Academy and OPPO's official social media platforms for easy reference by participants. The public announcement of the competition winners will take place in mid to late November 2023. For detailed information, please refer to the instructions on the official website.
After the announcement of the competition winners, OPPO will conduct unified information verification. At that time, after contacting the winners, it is mandatory for the winners to submit the original files of the photos taken with OPPO smartphones and complete relevant personal information, copyright declarations, and authorization documents. These documents must be signed by the winners and scanned before being returned via email. Winners must provide the requested information within 2 days; failure to do so or submission of information that does not comply with the organizer's regulations will be considered as an automatic waiver of the winning qualification, and the vacancy will be filled by the next eligible participant in order.

When participants submit their entries, we collect their names, email addresses, and country/region of residence. This information will be stored within mainland China. Unless otherwise required by law or with your additional authorized consent for a longer retention period, we will only store your personal information for the shortest time necessary to fulfill the authorized purposes. For more details, please refer to OPPO's official privacy statement (https://privacy.oppo.com/cn/policy/). If participants' entries are awarded, we will proactively contact them via email to obtain their shipping addresses for prize delivery. The recipient information collected for shipping purposes will be promptly cleared after use and will not be retained.

Participants have the right to be credited for their works, and the copyright of the contest entries remains with the participants themselves. Participants should ensure that they have independent, complete, clear, and undisputed copyrights to their works. They should also guarantee that the submitted works do not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, etc. Participants must ensure that their contest entries are independently created by themselves and strictly prohibit plagiarism. In case of discovering any plagiarism, the entry will be disqualified, and participants will be deemed to have agreed to the contents of this clause. Participants, themselves, bear all legal responsibilities arising from any disputes resulting from the aforementioned guarantees, and it has nothing to do with the platform or the event organizer.
By participating in the competition, participants are deemed to agree to and authorize the organizer to use their submitted works free of charge for promotion and publicity activities related to this competition. This includes but is not limited to the use of works in online media, print media, exhibitions, retail stores, roadshows, etc. The usage scope is not limited to any specific geographic area, and the organizer is allowed to modify and crop the works without further notice or consent from the participants. The organizer includes OPPO and its affiliated companies, strategic partners, etc.

By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that if their submitted works receive any awards in the competition, they authorize the organizer to use the works for commercial purposes. Participants still retain all rights to their works.
