April 19, 2022, Shenzhen - OPPO announced today that the Find X5 Pro joins the Find X3 Pro in receiving the Mobile Device Fundamentals Protection Profile (MDFPP) Common Criteria (CC) certification.
The current CC certification targets the latest MDFPP of National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) published in April 2021. Find X5 Pro is the first device in the world to be certified by the most recent version of the MDFPP.
This remarkable achievement marks another milestone in data security, and highlights OPPO's commitment to customer safety, confidentiality and satisfaction.
Andy Wu, Vice President and President of Find Product Line at OPPO, said: “We always look to enhance security support and protection across all our devices, and welcome a new era of data security.
“A wide range of OPPO products are recognised by third-parties such as CSA STAR, TRUSTe, ePrivacy, DJCP, PCI DSS, etc. We are extremely proud that Find X5 Pro achieved the MDFPP CC certification, the world’s enterprise-level security validation, the ‘Global Pass’ for security, which continues to confirm OPPO’s commitment and strength in data security.”
The CC certification is one of the world’s most widely recognised standards for international security measures. It’s often used to benchmark the intense, high-level security requirements essential for extremely sensitive industries such as network systems, credit and debit cards, and confidential customer information.
CC certification remains the basis for government certification schemes in a number of countries and regions. There are seven fundamental requirements needed to achieve it: excellence in product development, security auditing, cryptographic support, user data protection, identity and authentication, data security, trusted paths and channels and evaluation access.
Recognised by international security third parties such as ISO, ePrivacy, ioXt and TrustArc - the Find X5 Pro adopts international standards for data transmission to ensure data cannot be tampered with no matter where and when the device is used, making it a great choice for work data needing business-level protection.
