People's Choice Event Rules
People's Choice Event Rules
This Event is organized and promoted by Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp, Ltd. and is subject to the following Event Rules, which will form a binding agreement between you and us.
1. Event time
14:00 on 15 August 2023 - 24:00 on 30 September 2023 (GMT+8)
2. Event Introduction
During the event period, browse the TOP 15 proposals and choose the one you want to support. Click "Support" to generate inspiration credits for it. Each user can cast one vote per day (one vote equals 50 inspiration credits). The two proposals with the highest votes in the categories of Inspiration for People and Inspiration for the Planet will respectively win the People's Choice Award and be announced at the Global Final Demo Event.
3. Participation requirements
You must register your nickname and email address for your vote every time to verify your identity and be eligible for a prize. Your registered nickname and email address are the only proof of winning a prize at this event. At the end of the voting period, 3 users will be randomly selected from the voters to win OPPO products (OPPO Find N2 Flip (8+256GB)). To qualify for participation in the Event, you must be over 18 years of age. If you're under 18 years of age, you must first obtain permission from your legal guardian.
4. Prize Drawing and Redemption
- The lucky draw results will be announced on 9 October 2023 on the official website (https://www.oppo.com/en/proposal/).
- After the lucky draw results are announced, the winner will be contacted by email (proposal@oppo.com). To claim the prize (through the email address registered for voting), the winner should verify their identity and offer their delivery information (address, name, mobile phone number, etc.) within 5 working days after receiving the email from the committee (proposal@oppo.com), and the prizes will be sent out within 15 working days of the winner's feedback on the delivery address.
- Winners must reply within 5 working days to claim their prize, if no response is received within that period, or a Winner chooses to decline the Prize (or part thereof), we will have the discretion to forfeit the prize and choose another prize winner without any substitution (monetary or otherwise).
- Incorrect winner information may result in automatic forfeiture of the prize. Undelivered prizes arising from incorrect user-provided information will not be reissued.
- The prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
- You understand and agree that not all the prizes can be delivered successfully due to the requirement of applicable laws or logistics problems in your country or region. In such an event, we shall have the right to suspend the delivery of the prize without any legal liabilities.
5. Notes
- The platform has the right to revoke the user's participation in this event in the event of any improper means or activity (cheating, hacking, breaking terms and conditions etc).
- In case of force majeure (including but not limited to major catastrophic events, activities subject to government agencies stopping the demand for holding or adjustments, the existence of large-scale cheating activities, activities suffering a serious network or due to system failure caused by the activities of the system error and other emergencies affecting the normal conduct of the activities), we have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the activities and do not need to compensate the user for compensation or reimbursement.
- Personal information collected from each winner will be used by us for the purpose of delivering their prize only. We will not sell, share or otherwise disclose personal information of winners with third parties, other than to third parties engaged by us to fulfill the above purposes. The personal information collected at the above event will be deleted promptly after use and will not be retained. For more information, please refer to the Privacy Statement on OPPO's website (https://privacy.oppo.com/en/policy/). The People's Choice award will not affect the selection of other awards. In case of any dispute, the OPPO Inspiration Challenge Committee reserves final decision making rights.
- This Event Rules are governed by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and the courts of the People’s Republic of China shall have sole jurisdiction.
