  • OPPO’s response to COVID-19

    During these unprecedented times, we need to remain united and practice the necessary steps to fight against the spread of COVID-19. With the safety of our users and employees being our number one priority, we created a special team to oversee preventative actions and maintain ongoing operations. OPPO has been committed to protecting our community to fight this pandemic and encourage everyone to work together to protect their families, friends and neighbors.

    For Our Employees,
    We have supplied face masks for employees worldwide and are encouraging staff to work from home by following local policies, while some staff members are required to be onsite; we are practicing preventative measures to maximize interpersonal space.
    Our HR and IT departments have worked together to develop an intranet system for employees worldwide – where our staff will report daily health updates. In addition, we are also reducing business travel and asking our staff to practice online communication as much as possible. If employees must travel, a 14-day self-quarantine is required upon arrival to ensure the health and safety of all our employees.

    To Our Users and Community,
    At our core, OPPO is committed to playing a key role in helping communities thrive. We have donated £400,000 to relevant institutions to help purchase medical supplies, and during the early days of outbreak in China, we have dispatched some of our workers to help aid in the production of face masks in other factories. Recently we also donated face masks to European countries and Japan in order to help local medical care professionals. We also share our preventative actions with global suppliers to help decrease the spread of COVID-19.
    We hope our customers stay healthy and try to stay home at this time. Still in order to maintain a quality service to all users, OPPO online service team have been working non-stop to ensure all user inquiries being answered with part of our team working remotely from home. Moreover, for users whose warranty is nearly finished, OPPO is also offering extra warranty time.

    Retail and Online,
    OPPO is tremendously grateful for our global partners and community for helping us during these hard times. In efforts to continue preventing the spread of the virus, we are disinfecting retail stores daily and providing non-contact delivery to customers to ensure the health and safety of both parties.
    For overseas retail stores, we are following the local policies of each country. For onsite staff, we conduct the same preventative measures that were utilized in China, including daily disinfection and temperature checks. With the current situation, we encourage you to utilize our online channels to explore our products and services.

    We will continue to devote our efforts to help our nation and the world fight this pandemic. We thank our global staff and OPPO community for doing their part - we all have a responsibility to help how we can during this uncertain time.
