OPPO Elevate-Terms & Condition

The Event is live from 19^th May ‘22 to 5^th Aug ’22 in the Indian region.

ELIGIBILITY:

You need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to enter the Event:

a. You should be an individual/entity, as applicable and legal resident of the Republic of India;

b. You have a billing address within the territory of India;

c. You should have a valid Pan Card;

d. Should have registered Start-up operating in India.

e. Consent to our Privacy Policy available at https://www.oppo.com/in/privacy/ before you submit Personal Data to us.

f. The Startup should be incorporated as a private limited company or registered as a partnership firm or a limited liability partnership

g. Turnover should be less than INR 100 Crores in any of the previous financial years

h. An entity shall be considered as a startup up to 10 years from the date of its incorporation

i. The Startup should be working towards innovation/ improvement of existing products, services and processes and should have the potential to generate employment/ create wealth. An entity formed by splitting up or reconstruction of an existing business shall not be considered a "Startup"

j. Start-ups should be a Validation/Early Traction/Scaling stage startup. Ideation stage start-ups are not eligible.

DETAILS OF THE EVENT: This is Event is named “Oppo Elevate”.

The program aims to inspire incubation activity to create a healthy ecosystem for entrepreneurs and the start-up cohort
- OPPO Elevate will help the brand harness the power of innovation by extending a palatial platform for start-ups to collaborate.

Through a robust partnership, the OPPO Elevate program will help young start-ups with the some very interesting ideas to enter a fast-growing ecosystem of innovation. This program will offer professional advice, support, and opportunity to leverage OPPO’s products, resources, and distribution channels to take off their innovation.

OPPO Elevate is a regional event, top 3 start-ups at the end of regional event will be sourced to Global event “Oppo Research Institute Accelerator”

Eligible users who meet above criteria can participant in the Event.

01) Call for Proposals: May 19 – July 10

02) Review of Submission Documents and Eligibility: July 11-July 15

03) Preliminary Assessment: July 16 – August 4

04) India Demo Day and Winners Announcement: August 5

1. Program announcement will be made through various online channels.

2. Start-ups in ‘Accessible Technology’ and ‘Digital Health’ will be eligible to apply.

3. Applications can be made through OPPO Elevate website or email ID OPPO-elevate@oppo.com.

4. An internal panel will review all received applications and select top 10 start-ups for offline demo event.

5. Selected 10 start-ups will receive communication from OPPO regarding participation confirmations and logistics.

6. Start-ups to confirm participation for offline event, along with list of members to attend the event, maximum members up to 3.

7. During offline demo start-up will present their proposal to the panel of judges.

8. Top 3 selected start-ups will be sourced for global challenge “Oppo Research Institute Accelerator”

9. Top 10 shortlisted start-up in regional event will have eligibility to collaborate with India RD center for applicable technical discussion and access to RD facilities (Labs, spaces, Mobile devices) on mutually agreed terms and schedule.

1. Demo day will be an Offline Event at Hyderabad RD center.

2. Top 10 start-ups to be Invited for demo day.

3. Up to maximum 3 representative from each selected start-ups will be called for demo day participation.

4. 15 mins pitching session on product/services offerings.

5. Judge committee to select top 3 start-up.

6. Further communication for global event participation (top 3)

1. Sourcing to Global Inspirational round (top 3)

2. Access to India RD center facilities: Space, Devices, Labs.

3. Mentorship from OPPO India RD center

4. Strategic co-operation: Pitching to Tech Sourcing Team

5. Networking opportunities with industry experts and OPPO executives

Judge committee will include Industry Leaders and OPPO internal executives.

ADDITIONAL TERMS:

This campaign is void where prohibited.

Taxes, where applicable, shall be borne in accordance with applicable laws.

Every Prize/Selection/Shortlist will be awarded \"AS IS\" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion. If selected participant rejects the prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the selected participant's prize will be forfeited and Oppo India shall be entitled to select another selected participant.

WE MAY, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION, CHANGE THE T&CS OR CANCEL THE EVENT AT ANY TIME; OR MODIFY, TERMINATE, OR SUSPEND THE EVENT FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER and including but not limited to viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Event or submission of entries. We are not responsible for: (a) lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Event, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries; (b) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Event; (c) any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (d) injury or damage to your or any other computer or mobile resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Event. We may, in our sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be: (a) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Event or website or mobile application; (b) acting in violation of these T&Cs; or (c) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If your entry is incomplete or if you use robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods, your entry will be void. No benefits greater than those described these T&Cs will be awarded.

MISCELLANEOUS :
The Event is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. No requests for transfer or assignment or redemption of the benefits shall be entertained. You agree that all our decisions related to the Event are final and binding on you. Failure by Oppo India to enforce any of these T&Cs in any instance shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the T&Cs and shall not give rise to any claim by any person. The decision of Oppo India shall at all times be binding and final. These T&Cs are subject to Indian laws and the courts at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes or any matter arising here from.

FORCE MAJEURE:
This Event is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Oppo India (\"Force Majeure Event\"). Oppo India shall be not liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to the participants in the Event including the winners as a result of a Force Majeure Event.

PUBLICITY RELEASE:
By participating in the Event, you give Oppo India and/or its affiliates permission to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any pictures, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made in relation to the Event and any promotions, events, or event to follow. Oppo India shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen here https://www.oppo.com/in/privacy/ that Oppo India and/ or its affiliates have the right to publish your saved item details for any communication, promotions, events, or Event that follow. You agree that Oppo India and/ or its affiliates have complete ownership of such pictures, etc., including the entire copyright, and may use them for any purpose. These uses include, but are not limited to illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional or educational materials in any medium now known or later developed, including the internet. You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation, etc. for the use of such pictures, etc., and hereby release Oppo India and/ or its affiliates and its agents and assigns from any and all claims which arise out of or are in any way connected with such use. You give your consent to Oppo India and/or its affiliates, agents and assigns to use your name and likeness to promote the Event and any promotions, events, or Event to follow.

LIABILITY RELEASE:
Oppo India accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Event or accepting the Prize/Selection/Shortlist. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of Oppo India for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence. Please read the terms and conditions mentioned carefully. Non reading or not knowing any of the clauses will not absolve of any liability incurred. In no event shall Oppo India, including its officers, directors, and employees, be liable to you, or any third party, for any special, indirect, consequential losses, including but not limited to, damages for loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, lost profits, lost business opportunities or for damages in excess of the USD 1000.
