OPPO Reno12 Pro awarded the Best 'AI Smartphone' by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA)

OPPO, the leading smart devices manufacturer, has been awarded the ' AI Smartphone 2024-2025' by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) for its Reno12 Pro. The EISA—a collaboration between 56 of the most respected international specialist consumer electronics publications in the world—celebrates new products that blend cutting-edge technology with outstanding performance.

For the last four years, OPPO has been winning consistently at the EISA awards. In 2023-2024, the Reno10 Pro received the EISA Best 'Consumer Smartphone' award, while the Find X5 Pro was honoured with EISA's 'Advanced Smartphone Award'. In 2022-2023, the Enco X2 earbuds were awarded the "IN-EAR Headphones" title. In 2021-2022, the Find X3 Pro won the EISA 'Best Product Award,' and the Find X2 Pro won the 'Advanced Smartphone Award' for 2020-2021.

The latest "AI Smartphone" category highlights innovations that improve user experience using artificial intelligence. The OPPO Reno12 Pro excels with features such as AI Eraser 2.0, which removes background distractions like trash cans, lamp posts or photobombers, while its AI Clear Face feature uses machine learning to enhance portraits; it removes blemishes while retaining natural beauty and facial features. The device also incorporates OPPO's proprietary AI Linkboost which enables efficient network usage for messages, photos and videos. 

The Reno12 Pro even includes AI Best Face, which identifies faces and expressions to create the perfect group shot—even opening closed eyes to ensure everyone looks their best. AI Studio transforms portraits into fun digital avatars, from cowboys to cyberpunk heroes. Additionally, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 allows users to crop multiple subjects or objects from a single picture, saving them as stickers to create fun memes. The Reno12 Pro also introduces BeaconLink technology that ensures reliable communication during network outages, allowing seamless one-to-one voice calls via Bluetooth in non-network environments like underground garages and music festivals.

For productivity, the Reno12 Pro also packs AI Writer that can help you draft emails and captions for your social media posts, AI Summary that uses artificial intelligence to provide concise summaries and highlights of lengthy content such as reports and online articles, and AI Recording Summary that saves time by summarising daily office meetings. You can record meetings—in English and Hindi—for as long as five hours to generate notes, summaries and transcripts at the touch of a button.

In addition to the AI features, the Reno12 Pro sports a unique Quad-Micro Curved Infinite View screen with a 43-degree curve for extremely narrow bezels of just 1.69mm and a 93.5% screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth browsing and scrolling; its 1200nits peak HDR brightness ensures legibility even under direct sunlight.
