OPPO India launches 'Your Everyday AI Companion' Campaign featuring Ranbir Kapoor to introduce the Reno12 Series

OPPO India launched its new campaign "Your Everyday AI Companion" with Ranbir Kapoor and a life-sized CGI model, the OPPO AI Avatar. The campaign—conceptualised by Famous Innovations—introduces the OPPO Reno12 Series and highlights how the OPPO AI Avatar assists Ranbir during his holiday travels.

The series comprises four short films, which was launched on social media platforms, OTT platforms, and the official OPPO website, to promote the new OPPO Reno12 Series smartphones. The first video went live on 4^th July, the second on 7^th July, with the remaining two released on 12^th July.

In the first film, Ranbir captures the perfect beach selfie, only to find it marred by background distractions. He asks his AI companion—the OPPO AI Avatar—to make the "lovebirds" fly away from his picture, and the OPPO AI does just that. With a quick swoosh, the couples in the background are erased, highlighting the 'Remove People' feature of the OPPO AI Eraser2.0.

In the second film, Ranbir is hanging out with his friends, posing for a group picture. Just as the picture is about to be taken, a lady walks into the frame, and Ranbir blinks. The result is a picture where it looks like he's winking at the lady. To fix this mix-up and keep the great picture with his friends, Ranbir asks his AI companion for help. "No retake? No Problem!!" The OPPO AI Avatar digitally opens Ranbir's closed eye in the photo, showcasing the AI Best Face feature.

In the third film, Ranbir is shopping at a beach flea market while getting a barrage of instructions over the phone. Overwhelmed, he asks his AI companion for help. The OPPO AI Avatar uses the AI Record Summary on the OPPO Reno12 Series to present Ranbir with clear, concise, and actionable points from his entire telephonic conversation.

In the fourth film, Ranbir is looking for his friends after getting separated from them. To make matters worse, he no longer has a network connection and starts to panic. His trusted AI companion—the OPPO AI Avatar—calmly leverages the Beacon Link feature to help Ranbir connect and talk to his buddies.

The Reno12 Pro 5G will be available in two variants: INR 36,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and INR 40,999 for the 12GB+512GB version. The Reno12 5G will be priced at INR 32,999 and come with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
