OPPO Reno8 T Launches in Kenya

Nairobi, Kenya 16^th February 2023 --- OPPO today announced the newest addition to its popular Reno8 series, OPPO Reno8 T ^5G, in Kenya. Featuring a Dual Micro-Curved Design, OPPO Reno8 T ^5G offers an all-new premium look with a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen and 3D back cover. The handset also introduces an Ultra-Clear Imaging System backed by a 108MP Portrait Camera that delivers high-resolution photos with unprecedented detail. Together with upgraded 67W SUPERVOOC_TM charging, a 4,800mAh large battery, the Battery Health Engine, ColorOS 13, and more, Reno8 T ^5G delivers a leap in user experience over the last generation.

108MP Portrait Camera and Ultra-clear Imaging System for major portrait upgrade

The Reno8 T 5G implements OPPO’s first 108MP Portrait Camera. It also features an OPPO exclusive 40x Microlens and a 2MP Depth Camera together with a 32MP Selfie Camera for an upgraded photography experience throughout. The 108MP Portrait Camera, utilizes NonaPixel Plus binning technology and AI Portrait Super Resolution, capturing ultra-clear, high-resolution images in any scenario. The Microlens provides 40x magnification for exceptional detail offering exceptional detail for users when exploring the microscopic world beyond the naked eye.  Beyond the Ultra-clear Imaging System, Reno8 T ^5G offers a range of portrait features including Selfie HDR, Bokeh Flare Portrait, and Dual-View Video, enabling users to take professional-quality photos that showcase their personal style.

120Hz 3D Curved Design refreshes appearance and visual experience

The Reno8 T ^5G offers the ultimate visual and physical comfort with a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen and 3D back cover.  With a 56-degree curve and 1.9 mm arc height the screen provides immersive viewing experience while improving grip and reducing screen damage when a user drops the phone. It also features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 93% screen-to-body ratio and minimal bezel for maximum immersion.

With a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 Billion Color Display, the OPPO Reno8 T ^5G is set to deliver smooth, vibrant visuals. To protect a user’s eyes the device has an AI Adaptive Eye Protection System and a tempered DT-Star2 glass adds extra durability. The 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming is also supported on Reno8 T 5G. Compared with the industry-standard 480Hz dimming, 2,160Hz PWM dimming can help reduce eye fatigue caused by low-frequency flickers.
The phone is available in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black, with a crystal-effect 3D back cover that reduces finger print appearance and will weigh only 171g and is 7.7mm thick for a lightweight feel.

By adopting 67W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge, the OPPO Reno8 T ^5G can charge a 4800mAh battery, up to 100% in just 44 minutes, and a 5-minute charge is enough to enjoy 5.59 hours of phone calls or 3.56 hours of videos. Reno8 ^5G has adopted OPPO’s exclusive Battery Health Engine, which intelligently controls the charging current and voltage through real-time monitoring, to ensure the battery servers customers for an extended time. With  Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 695 5G Mobile Platform provides efficient 5G performance, while the Dual Stereo Speakers and Ultra Volume Mode enhance sound quality and volume by 200%.  

The Reno8 T ^5G is equipped with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and supports up to 1TB SD card expansion. Up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM can also be added using OPPO’s RAM Expansion function. The all-round smoothness of the Reno8 T 5G is further complemented by OPPO’s self-developed Dynamic Computing Engine, which ensures a longer stable user experience under heavy computing loads.
