Stepping into the winter of Norway, my sister looks thoughtfully towards the camera. The patterns on her headscarf are as splendid as flowers, like the most resilient soul blooming in this winter.

The setting sun falls on my sister's shoulder as she gazes into the camera, as if with a power that penetrates the cold. This tranquil photo conveys the last warmth of twilight, and the peaceful boldness of youth.

Guided by the twilight, in the Alabama Hills near the town of Lone Pine in California, USA, seeking enlightenment and tranquility. Through long exposure, the rocks stand tall against the skyline, immersed under the stars. Using Hasselblad Master Mode, the overall silhouette is clearly visible against the night sky, like a watcher, silently guarding this mysterious land.

Traditionally, the Yi people, a minority group in China, like to give their girls names related to the moon, expecting them to be as industrious and kind as the moon fairies.And the girls are living the myth into reality!They promote Yi embroidery, knit felted shawls... to help themselves and their families have a better life!Behind the Photos: After graduating from university, Ahei Huan travelled for six years around the Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan, China. This region is home to the Yi people and it was where he built his career as a photographer.

What first catches my eye about this work is its professionalism. These images are crafted with precision and great sensitivity. But beyond this professionalism lies something more complex and magical. The entire series is marked by dualities: blue and white, face and landscape, hidden and exposed. The result is series that feels grounded in place and touched by a mystical spirit.
Liu Xiangcheng
In 1939，Chinese Photographer Zhuang Xueben created a series of portraitures of Yi minorities. This photographer has created a version of portraitures by smartphone camera worthy of Zhuang Xueben. He has established a prerequisite trust between the subjects and himself who is shown in the series.
Pete Lau
This series of portraits impressed me a lot. The exposure is accurate, the composition is comfortable, and the colors are calm. The ethnic fashion and life in the portraits depict the calmness, positiveness and mystery of Yi women. The author’s concern for humanity, nature and culture somehow reminds me of the similar works of Zhuang Xueben, a pioneer of visual anthropology.

This series of photos has the power behind the tranquility. The author depicts the temperament of an ethnic group in a proficient visual language, which is fascinating. The scene selection, model direction, details, tones, clothing and emotions tell how thoughtful and skillful the author is and what breakthrough and ambition OPPO has in the field of portrait photography.
Tina Signesdottir Hult
First thing caught me is the strong and empowered greatness this series presented. A perfect interplay among background, composition, angle and colors. The artist has managed to catch the characteristics of these women‘s culture, and is inviting us, strongly in, with the play of angles, characters and the feminine beauty.
Wang Jianjun
This series impressed me the most during this competition. The conception, completion, narration, and humanism of the work show the author‘s affection for this land and the people on it. Typical characters in a typical environment present Yi women’s soft strength of water. Ethnicity is highlighted by typical items and backgrounds. The work is full of melody and rhythm. The scenes, details, and colors cleanly and concisely highlight the quality of OPPO devices and the natural colors of Hasselblad.
Yin Chao
This series is the most eye-catching and professional fashion photographs I saw during this competition. The tempo, color, composition and models are well-presented. The people, exotic clothes and the nature are in harmony. The photographer has a strong and natural style. The mysterious and ethical faces make the viewers lost in their wild and fanciful thoughts. The whole series gives us not only the visual pleasure, but also a strong vitality.

For a fraction of a second, the world aligns itself. Light, color, line and form come together as a gift. With a combination of talent and luck, the photographer, like the fisherman, captures this moment in the net of the camera.

The artist, has caught a silent moment of bliss. This is a very sublime work with interplay between shadow and light. You can see the kite in the middle as a symbolic element of childhood. The children, seems like standing as future and past. This is an image that get into our emotions.

Rather than a common perspective, the author uses strong colors, shadow figures, clever composition and cinematic narrative to show us an ethnic group and their belief and tell us the relationship between people, their hearts and their beliefs. Description
The Lingdingyang Bridge of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, which is a large transportation projects still in construction, merged successfully on 28th April 2023, and a ceremony was held on the bridge deck to commemorate the occasion.

This scene is so familiar and intimate to me. I photographed nearly 10 major transportation projects in China. This should be the moment when the two parts of Lingdingyang Bridge were jointed, a major project in Guangdong province. The cable-stayed bridge is like a huge harp, and the steel cables are like strings playing a glorious piece of music. With the fireworks of victory in the background, the picture is full of majestic dynamic and power.
