OPPOHack 2022 Calls for Global Tech Talent

May 26 2022, SINGAPORE – Global technology company, OPPO, is calling for tech talent to help find solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues at OPPOHack 2022 in collaboration with hackathon-expert HackHub. This is an international hackathon that brings together a community of tech enthusiasts and innovators to tackle real-world problems through emerging technologies like Enhanced Visualisation, Efficient Computation, and Unhindered Cross-device Connection. At OPPOHack 2022, participants will explore the latest information on OPPO’s ColorOS.

OPPOHack 2022 — Intelligence Linking the World

.OPPOHack 2022 is aligned with OPPO’s brand proposition of ‘Inspiration Ahead’, and its vision to build a world that emphasises user-centric experiences. OPPOHack aims to create a seamless connection between people and technology. Participants from different backgrounds and expertise will put their heads together to find innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues. As well as giving technology enthusiasts a chance to test their talent with OPPOHack 2022, OPPO has also launched the OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator to discover and support proposals and startups to make a real-world impact.

At OPPOHack 2022, participants will get a closer look at the latest updates on ColorOS 12, OPPO’s signature operating system with the latest upgrades on design, connectivity, privacy and more. One highlight of the system is PC Connect, which creates a seamless interaction between OPPO smartphones and a user’s computer.

OPPOHack believes in the power of technology and teamwork and is a collaboration between 12 universities, 20 incubators, and more than 500 individuals around the globe. For participants, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, tech experts, and leaders in leading companies. From June to August, there will be a series of tech garages offering best-in-class concepts and skills needed to get started. Teams entering the final round will also get first-hand developer resources and tools to help them create their dream project. In addition to a total cash prize of $40,000 USD, participants of winning projects will also get the chance to attract investment for their project, and see it applied in the real world.

OPPOHack is introducing a hybrid mode competition with two rounds of hackathons. The preliminary round will be held offline in two co-host cities in the United States and will also accept online participation. Upon registration, participants will be asked to select which one of the co-host hackathons they will be joining, either in-person or virtually.
