SINGAPORE, 30 August 2023 - OPPO today announced the launch of its new tablet - the OPPO Pad 2 - in Singapore. The OPPO Pad 2 is the first tablet to apply a 7:5 aspect ratio display, a similar aspect ratio to that of many other office tools, such as PCs, A4 paper, and books, thus offering a comfortable and familiar reading experience to users. Compared to conventional 16:10 Android tablets, the OPPO Pad 2 offers a similar screen size with nearly 10% expanded viewing area.

OPPO’s latest offering presents an expanded viewing area suitable for work or entertainment purposes. The 7:5 aspect ratio is retained in both full screen and in split-screen mode, ensuring ratio consistency across a variety of modes.

The 11.61-inch screen also comes with a series of flagship-level parameters, including a  2800x2000 high resolution for ultra-clarity and enhanced image details. Supporting a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate and five levels of adaptive refresh rate adjustment, the display guarantees smoother visuals with more efficient power consumption across different usage scenarios. With ΔE＜2 color tuning, OPPO Pad 2 achieves ultra-high colour accuracy comparable to that of a professional display. The screen supports 1.07 billion colours, delivering more life-like, vibrant visuals. Certified by TÜV Rheinland to meet its Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) standard, the display also enables users to enjoy visual content for a longer period of time comfortably.

The OPPO Pad 2 features a special-designed grey-color metal unibody that is extremely durable. The curved middle-frame of the tablet makes it visually thinner, fitting more naturally in the palm of one’s hand. The new OPPO Pad 2 Smart Touchpad Keyboard can be seamlessly connected to the tablet through magnetic pairing, eliminating the need to manually connect or charge. The front frame also features an ergonomic 120° elevation angle for more comfortable viewing. Made with a new ultra-light, aero-foam material, the keyboard weighs only 360 g, making it durable and ideal for working on-the-go. OPPO Pad 2 comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and will be retailing at S$799 with a free Smart Case.

For accessories, the OPPO Pad 2 Smart Touchpad Keyboard is priced at S$139, the OPPO Pencil is priced at S$119 and the OPPO Pad 2 Smart Case is priced at S$59.

OPPO Pad 2 and its accessories will be available for purchase in Singapore starting from 31 August 2023 at OPPO Official Online Store and OPPO’s Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10, TikTok and iShopChangi flagship stores.
