The campaign sees OPPO partnering with Hill’s to open the way for more love for pets in Singapore
SINGAPORE, 8 September 2023 – OPPO Singapore has announced a new campaign – Petrait Expert – calling on people to show greater love to pets. In collaboration with pet food brand, Hill’s Pet Nutrition (Hill’s), Petrait Expert hopes to foster a stronger culture of care in Singapore by encouraging pet parents in Singapore to create memories and meaningful ways of interaction with their pets through the power of smartphones. An initiative with a heart, it is in line with OPPO’s stride towards bringing the good of technology to benefit all.
Pets - the heartbeat of a Singaporean home
Singaporeans, like those in many parts of the world, think of their pets as family, and place significant importance on the wellbeing of their pets. Today, with technology interwoven in our everyday lives, it plays an important role in presenting immense possibilities to improve the wellbeing and quality of lives of pet parents and their pets.
For one, technology can be a tool to build better connections and create core memories. To illustrate, what used to be a passing moment can now be immortalised with just a single tap on today’s smartphones that have advanced camera capabilities.
Leveraging how smartphones can be a gamechanger to how we interact with pets, OPPO Singapore has drawn in Hill’s as a partner to add a scientific touch to the Petrait Expert initiative. By playing into the strength of Hill’s expertise in animal health, combined with strong smartphone capabilities powered by OPPO, OPPO hopes to enrich both pet ownership experience and pet health altogether.
Consumer trial now open
To kick off this collaboration, OPPO Singapore and Hill's are inviting pet parents in Singapore to join a consumer trial program where they can capture moments with their pets using OPPO’s latest Reno10 Pro+ smartphone, while simultaneously documenting any visible changes to their pets with their new and improved diet with Hill’s Science Diet. Over the course of a month, participants will get the chance try out the Hill’s Science Diet Food for free and be provided with the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ at hand. With every photo and video taken, OPPO hopes to foster stronger connections between pets and their pet parents while allowing them to keep an eye on the health and emotions of their furry friends to promote overall healthy growth.
Selected pet parents with great photos will stand a chance to receive two months’ worth of Hill’s Science Diet Food. Moreover, photos taken during the consumer trial program will also be considered to be amplified by OPPO in its brand communications. OPPO and Hill's are also offering exclusive discounts, including S$100 discount vouchers with free Enco Buds 2 worth $80 to pet parents who decide to purchase the Reno10 Pro+ during the trial period. For every purchase of the Reno10 Pro+, OPPO will donate a bag of Hill’s Science Diet products to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
