Hasselblad Master Tina Signesdottir Hult, who specializes in portraits, shared her feelings of the work: "The photographer has managed to create a strongly balanced portrait, which reminds us of Johannes Vermeer's paintings and his amazing use of light. The composition is balanced, and the silhouette and light on the subject's face are very subtle. Earth tones work very well together, making this a good portrait."

Description
This is a snapshot taken by the photographer on a train in Bangladesh. It captures the most innocent expressions of the passengers, as if they were riding the train away from their worries and towards hope.
Pete Lau, CPO of OPPO, appreciated the spirit of the work: "This seemingly common work is actually full of interest, with vivid colors, balanced composition, and a combination of movement and stillness. On a moving train, the author looked down with the camera and captured the fleeting expressions of the passengers. Their eyes showed the glow of positiveness in spite of an assumedly hard life. They were even willing to interact with the photographer. It is a very difficult snapshot to take."

Description
This picture shows the moment when the two parts of Lingdingyang Bridge of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor, which is a major transportation project still under construction, were joined and a ceremony was held on the bridge deck to commemorate the occasion.
Hasselblad Master Wang Jianjun, who has photographed nearly 10 major transportation projects in China, felt familiar with such a scene when he saw this picture for the first time. "The cable-stayed bridge is like a huge harp, and the steel cables are like strings playing a glorious piece of music. With the fireworks of victory in the background, the picture is full of majestic dynamism and power," he said.

Alec Soth, a member of Magnum Photos, thought this image was layered in visual delight. He said, "First I responded to the delicious color. Next I was bewildered by the illusion of the sky. Finally, my eye moved through the image, taking in small pleasures: the red tape at the base of the ladder and the four hats mimicked by the four broken rectangles. This image rewards repeated viewing."

After a hard day's work, a mother and her daughter took a rest on the grassland. "The punctum of a photograph is the small detail that makes the entire image special. In this gentle and affectionate image, the punctum is the mud on the girl's leg. For me, this small detail makes the image come alive in the moment," said Magnum Photographer Alec Soth, who resonated with this image for its detail.
